After a very successful Dutch Fly Fair in 2016, we can enjoy another edition of the Fly Fair this year. Qflyshop is taking this edition to another level... literally and figuratively! with a stand of no less than 100m2. The location is chosen so that we are directly on the water and that you can test various rods and lines, both single and double-handed. Want to see if the Douglas SKY really is the best 9ft # 6 rod? Or try one of the new single handed Mackenzie FX1 rods? It's all possible during the Fly Fair.Beyond that we bring well-known fly fishing brands like, Thomas and Thomas, Douglas Outdoors, Abel Reels, Ross Reels, Galvan Reels, RIO, Costa Sunglasses and so on. We also take a whole bunch of tying materials to the Fair.
Extra special this time is that we also invited some special guests!
Present at the Qfly stand will be: Guideline with their complete exhibition stand of 3x3m and a large number of new items. For example, the new Guideline ULS 3D + (Ultra Light Scandi). These ULS lines are specially made for single-handed rods and you ca now try one at the fair. FutureFly is also present at Qflyshop stand and there will be someone present on both days who will tie the most beautiful Salmon and Seatrout flies. To top it all off, three-time world champion Speycasting Scott Mackenzie will come to the Qfly stand. Not only with its renowned double-handed rods. also his single-handed Graphene rods are amazing! You really have to try these rods yourself to believe it. Many brands have a special NaNo coating or other marketing trick. But no one except Mackenzie has a professor specializing in Carbonfibers on board who has worked for both Formula 1 and NASA! Professor Gary Savage has developed unique rods with the Mackenzie team that are stronger and lighter ... but above all... are better casting and fishing tools.
